FAQ
Q: How does Project Skills help with post-16 science?
A: It develops the enquiry capabilities and independent learning skills essential for A-level success - critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and project management.
Q: How do we evaluate the success of the programme?
A: The theory of action suggests that it may positively impact students' interest in science, their science identity and careers awareness, which may lead to more students wanting to take post-16 STEM subjects.
Q: Should we select specific students or make it open to all?
A: The programme particularly benefits Combined Science students who like hands-on learning and who might not otherwise continue with STEM. It offers a pathway focused on applications and authentic inquiry.
