Space is a theme that fills students with full or awe and wonder, yet doesn't feature in England's 14-16 Programme of Study and so gets little curriculum time. Space is one of the project themes of our new course.
Students build a lander for a spacecraft to safely touchdown on the surface of Mars, with sensors to detect the ground and even automatic landing gear.
